Heartsigh
A heartsigh is an expression connected to our emotional self, anything from the soft touch of hands holding to a scream of rage. We must express to connect to ourselves and to each other.
Created and premiered in 2023 for the students at The University of the Arts at the Annenberg Theater in Philadelphia. Heartsigh is a work for 14 dancers exploring the longing in our hearts to connect to who we are and to each other, and all the failings and frustrations that come with that journey.
