Osmotic-esque

Osmotic-esque was originally created for 5 dancers of the dance troupe -Esque dance collective.  It zooms in on and personifies the inner workings of a cell and its life. Opening up a world that feels unique and foreign. Biological terminology as well as pictures and videos of slides of cells were used as inspiration for movement and spatial patterns.  Osmotic-esque was created in 2015 in collaboration with its 5 dancers and was selected to be performed in the 10th Annual Reverb Dance Festival in New York, it was voted 3rd place on its first night of the festival by the audience.
